A short hunt (approx. 3 km) along the border line of Gladsaxe and Herlev Komune. Most of it can be done with kids but please be careful when you come to the lost place, it is more challenging than the rest.
At times the terrain rating may seem a bit low or high, depending on the condition (e.g. length) of the grass in the area. The longer the grass, the harder the cache!
Sadly, I can only provide a Google-Danish version of the text. It would be great if you could help me to tweak the Danish text. There is always space for an honorable mention.
This multi cache contains 4 short and easy stages and 2 little more tricky stages. Be aware of dog “mines” that are regularly deployed in this area.
STAGE 1: The start coordinates are at one entrance to the water protection area Kilde XIV. In this fenced area you will find four objects that are placed in a row. Of these four objects, one is different to the others. Have a look at this one, you will need the three signs on it! Note: The object you arelooking for is of rather small size. There are exactly 3 signs on it. A = found digit (keep the letters in mind).
STAGE 2: From the starting point of Stage 1 you have to follow the biking path through the nearest tunnel. Shortly after this tunnel, you will find another object (on the right side of the track) that is just like the last one you have found. You will need the number of letters (total = B) as well as the number of words (C) on this object.
STAGE 3: Continuing in the same direction as before you can find yet again one of these objects on your right hand side, just a little walk down the way. Here, you will need the number of letters in each individual word (D and E, where D is smaller than E). Now, remember the letters from stage 1? Find their position in each word in front of you (for each letter individually). Sum the positions up, if necessary. The smaller number be F and the other G.
Example: For the letters e and i, the positions in the words “whipped cream” would be: e=6+3=9 (=G), i=3 (=F). Note the hight of the object for a future bonus cache (not existing yet).
STAGE 4: Go back on the paved path and continue the usual direction for about 15m. Now, have a look around to find another letter. It is one of those you can turn upside down without changing it. Once you found it, you know where you have to go. Continue in this direction until you can answer the following question: How many children (H) can seesaw here simultaniously? (regarding regular design occupancy ) Now, this is also the place to enjoy a short brake and get your kids tired (if any) as well as to determine the intended final coordinates as follows: North = 55°43.X East = 012°27.Y X = (C + F) x A x D^2 + E x A^2 – C Y = B x D + A x H + G
STAGE 5 (intended final): Here you find the lost place. This place is, depending on the season of the year, not as easily accessible as the previous locations. Please be careful if you are caching with kids (many obstacles with risk of stumbling). In order to get to the cache container, you have to solve a last task: How many iron bars (J) are still left of the house? And how many stone bars (K)?

Denne multi cachen indeholder 4 korte og nemme trin og 2 lidt mere tricky etaper. Vær opmærksom på hund “miner”, der jævnligt sættes ind på dette område.

Kort efter denne tunnel, vil du finde et andet objekt (på højre side af sporet), der er ligesom den sidste, du har fundet. Du skal bruge antallet af bogstaver (total = B) såvel som antallet af ord (C) på dette objekt.
FASE 3: Fortsætter i samme retning som før du kan finde endnu en gang et af disse objekter på din højre side, bare en lille gåtur ned ad vejen. Her skal du bruge antallet af bogstaver i det enkelte ord (D og E, hvor D mindre E). Nu, husker brevene fra fase 1? Find deres position i hvert ord foran dig (for hvert bogstav individuelt). Sum stillingerne op, hvis det er nødvendigt. Det mindre antal være F og den anden G. eksempel: For bogstaverne e og i, positioner i ordene “whipped cream” ville være: e = 6 +3 = 9 (= G), i = 3 (= F). Bemærk højde af objektet til en fremtidig bonus cache (ikke eksisterende endnu).
FASE 4: Gå tilbage på asfalteret vej og fortsætte den sædvanlige retning for omkring 15m. Nu har et kig rundt for at finde et andet brev. Det er en af dem du kan slå op og ned uden at ændre det. Når du har fundet det, du ved, hvor du skal gå. Fortsæt i denne retning, indtil du kan besvare følgende spørgsmål: Hvor mange børn (H) kan vippe her Samti?
